Ukrainian anti-corruption agency detains senior security and police officials in «Carthage» operation
Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities carried out more than 70 searches and announced suspicions against five members of an alleged criminal organization in the «Carthage» case. Among the detained were senior officials from the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police, including SBU General Serhii Duka and Volodymyr Tsenov. The investigation alleges that officials provided protection and improper benefits to criminal networks operating call centres, drug trafficking, counterfeit production and violent schemes.
